Yellowstone Park

In September 2025, I spent six days on my first visit to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming state, USA. The park is vast at 2 million acres (898 thousand hectares), so I stayed at two different lodges in the park in order to explore more efficiently: Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Canyon Lodge.

It was autumn at more than 7000 feet (2134 meters) of elevation, so I had to defrost my car's windshield in the early mornings, but the afternoons were warm. Leaves were changing colors and there were still plenty of visitors.
